Start slow. Master the technique. Then push the pace.

Minimize the time you take to attempt each skill. The longer you take to set up the exercise, the easier it is. To challenge yourself reduce the amount of touches between each football control technique.

As always. Practice with both feet. Practice the control techniques with both feet but also the juggles in between, and the flick ups. A two footed player is twice as dangerous and effective.

  2. Start with control drill #1 until you can do it with confidence.
  3. Move to control drill #2 and so on.
  4. Work your way through these 11 soccer ball control training exercises.

I would recommend spending about 10-15 minutes per day working on these 11 soccer drills.
